No ano em que se comemoram os 50 anos da edição de On the Road, obra primordial da Beat Generation, Tó Trips (Dead Combo) na guitarra e Tiago Gomes, lendo excertos do livro de Jack Kerouac, apresentam uma performance que consiste numa banda sonora para aquele livro, acompanhada de um vídeo-beat de Raquel Castro.
Este espectáculo, que O Teatrão traz agora a Coimbra e à OMT, já foi apresentado na exposição Remembering Jack Kerouac, no espaço Av. da Liberdade 211, de onde partiu o convite para esta união em torno da Bíblia da Beat Generation, pela estrada fora, influência para viajantes de todos os tempos.
É de facto a viagem, uma estrada perdida e infinita para onde os dois performers e o vídeo remetem o espectador, para a route 66, América de todos os sonhos que aqui são todas as estradas do mundo: vias rápidas, estradas secundárias, deserto, cidades perdidas na noite e becos sem saída.
On the Road estará na Tabacaria no dia 2 de Abril, às 22h. Será igualmente nesta ocasião que Tiago Gomes lançará a sua Antologia de Poesia Auto-Ajuda.

Bem-hajam pela programação interessante e regular, agora, e que tal um preço até 3.50/4€ para as 5ª feiras?!...ele sem tudo ceder e algo a dar...,assim talvez se promovesse a ida a actuações "mais arriscadas" aquando da indecisão entre o ficar e o ir...
